What should I wear?

Wear comfortable workout clothes. Yoga pants and a fitted top are just fine.  You can wear baggy clothes but it’s harder to see yourself do the moves and it is harder for me to see if you are performing the moves correctly. 

In ITS we wear 25-yard skirts and cholis when we dance because the costuming is part of the dance.  A portion of learning ITS is becoming comfortable in your costume and learning how much space you occupy in your costume. I can direct you to online sources for acquiring these accoutrements, which you will need to have if you wish to perform in the student troupe.

For Drills and Conditioning, wear workout type clothing. You can wear dance shoes, socks, or go barefoot.
